Change Firefox profile

Selenium-ruby uses the it's own custom profile for firefox. Is there
any way to use the normal profile instead of Selenium-Ruby's custom
profile ?

Hi Punit,

Yes. We can able to set the predefined profile.

When start the Selenium RC --> mention ur profile details like this

>java -jar selenium-server.jar -firefoxProfileTemplate "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\

Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\4sdo3eff.default"

Hi Punit,

To know the current profile

run > %APPDATA%\Mozilla\

it gives the path of your current Firefox profile

Hi Ravi,
I am using selenium-rc for starting the server so i did like this
selenium-rc -firefoxProfileTemplate "C:\Documents and Settings\jpunit\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\wu9j0053.default"

it start the server then tries to find the profile
profile doesn't exist: C:\\Document
Failed to boot selenium rc server exiting !

I tried to work with Selenium RC java server and it works fine .
java -jar selenium-server.jar -firefoxProfileTemplate "C:\Documents and Settings\jpunit\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

wu9j0053.default"

If anyone know about How it'll work selenium-rc Pls discuss here.
