WEEKLY TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY #90: APRIL 18 - 25, 1993

North Atlantic Basin: No tropical cyclones.

Eastern North Pacific Basin (E of 140 Deg. W): No tropical cyclones.

Central North Pacific Basin (180 Deg. W to 140 Deg. W): No tropical cyclones.

Western North Pacific Basin (W of 180 Deg. W):

Tropical Depression 4W: Tropical Depression 4W formed near 10N 152W on 20
April. Initially moving west, the system turned west-southwest on 22 April.
Tropical Depression 4W resumed a westward track on 23 April and continued
this through the next day. The system turned west-northwest on 25 April, and
it was continuing this track at the end of the summary period. Maximum winds
thus far in this poorly organized system are 30 kt. While this system has
passed through the Caroline Islands, there are no reports of damage, casual-
ties, or significant weather.

North Indian Ocean Basin: No tropical cyclones.

South Indian Ocean Basin (W of 135 Deg. E): no tropical cyclones.

South Pacific Ocean Basin (E of 135 Deg. E): No tropical cyclones.
