Himalayan trek - Adventure camp / trek - 1st May to 12 th May 2010 for Family and Kids !!

This is the invite especially for Family and kids, who want to trek in Gharwal,Himalayas this summer. For kids to have more fun, we have included some activities for them too:)...Others are welcome too.
Minimum age - 6 to 7 years.Kids and adults should be physically fit:).First timers are also welcome.So parents,common.. pack up your bags and
kids and let's trek together:)

Travel

Departure April 30th from chennai by flight
Night train to Haridwar / Jeep to Uttarkashi.
Reach Uttarkashi 1st May by evening.
Trek / camp - 2nd May to 11th May
11th May Haridwar - Delhi by night train
Arrival chennai 12th May by flight.

Trek/ camp expense is Rs. Ten thousand only(Rs.10,000/-) per head . In this
cost porters, Meals, Camping Gears & Transportation etc will be provided. Apart from trek expense mentioned above, participants have to
pay for their travelling expense - Flight/ Train / jeep(shared) which will be discussed later separately with the registered participants

Itinerary

Day 1st - May 2nd - Uttarkashi to Barnala Tal. by road 40km. trek 3km.
Day 2nd Barnala Tal to Dayara, by trek 7km.
Day 3rd Dayara to Syari by trek 10km.
Day 4th Syari to Khachurinala, by trek 12km.
Day 5th Khachurinala to Dodital lake, by trek 9km.
Day 6th Dodital to Bibera, by trek 14km.
Day 7th Bebara to Uttarkashi, by trek 6km, road 14km.
Day 8th Rock climbing, Jumaring, Rappelling,.

Day 9th - Travel to rishikesh - River Rafting / River crossing.
Day 10th - River Rafting

Dodital trek - A nature lover's paradise.. This is how one would describe this trek in short....mysterious, alluring, and simply beautiful ! The serene, tranquil
surroundings, gurgling streams, crystal clear water, and dense alpine forests make for an ideal retreat. The Dodital Lake route is through thick forests of Oak, Rhododendron, Fir and Deodar.

This high altitude lake is crystal clear, in the midst of thick forest at an altitude of about 3,030 mtrs. This deep lake is the starting point of several rivers in this region. One side of the lake is guarded by a high ridge called the Darwa Top, which gives a panoramic view of high peaks of Garhwal.

Book your names immediately asap.. Only 30 seats will be reserved on first cum first served basis. Last date for registration is 15th Feb. Every name in a family has to be registered separately.Registered participants will be informed later the mode of payment, Things to carry, rules and regulations,etc.,
