! [remote rejected] HEAD -> refs/for/LEARNING_PORTAL (database error)

We started getting this error without warning. One minute it was
working, then it wasn't. We don't see anything wrong with the
database, but we bounced it anyway. We even restarted the gerrit
server. Any ideas?

Be sure to double-check the error_log on the Gerrit server to see what's going
on there too, that /should/ contain some useful information

Thank you.

I looked in the error_log and in the ugly error that was a message
about tyring to insert duplicate primary key. It ended up being the
change_id. Somehow the autoincrementer on the change_id table got
messed up. So we fixed that and then it started working again.
