RedDot Publication/Password Change Issue

Good Afternoon Everyone,


I have run into an issue when changing the RedDotUser account
password. Currently I am running RedDot CMS v. 7.1.2.6. I went
through all of the COM and DCOM settings for Server 2003. I ensured
the objects were using the updated password and had all of the
settings as described for the Launch and Activation Permissions and
Access Permissions.

When I go back into RedDot and attempt to publish a page, I still get
the same error message after restarting the server with the updated
changes.

Error Message:

Object variable or With block variable not set.


Anyone have any ideas of what I could try? Or is there any additional
information that I can provide to you to help narrow it down?

Issue Fixed:

After checking through my Event Viewer there was an issue with a DCOM
object for the system. Apparently I had missed a couple of the COM+
objects with HEX strings where the RedDotUser was under the identity
tab.
