Took my newly made spring-loaded rollerski poles out for a short
preliminary trial run today.

The springs are almost 10 inches long, connected to the upper and
bottom half of an adjustable length ski pole. Seems to work very
well. The downward push is turned into forward push as the ski poles
angle backwards just like it's supposed to. If further trials prove
to be as much fun, I might go for a new design with longer springs.

So far, so good.
