Who thinks we will be able to leave Iraq with no dire consequences
right here in American cities? Who thinks that Al Queda would not use
Iraq as a training ground, applying Iranian and Syrian money to send
their suicide bombers to America--as they are doing now in Iraq? Who
will say that US cities will not become as dangerous as those in
Baghdad? Who will take responsibility when car and bus bombs close
or destroy American bridges and make driving through tunnels
foolhardy?

If they're doing it now in Iraq, then how is being there helping? And
what is stopping them from doing it in Iran and Syria?

Will you be man enough to admit you're wrong when none of that comes to
pass?

Wrong question.

Who thinks we ever had a chance to invade Iraq with no dire
consequences right here in American cities? That's the question.

As for the consequences of pulling out, we can only think about
your dad and wonder.

Wrong question.

What does this have to do with golf and why are you responding to it?

There are no golfers here. The RSG regulars ran them out with
unrelenting disgusting personal attacks. Ask where George Hibbard
is.

Now the only interesting subject in RSG is political debate, the one
or two conservatives against the dozens of moron liberals.

There is no "cause and effect" to the Iraq invasion--

What planet were you living on when Al Queda killed hundreds of
Americans in Kobar Towers, the USS Cole, and while bringing down our
World Trade Center, killing 3000+.

For the information of those not on Earth at the time, the 9/11 attack
was the worst attack on America in history, killing more than Pearl
Harbor in 1941. It was unprovoked, LONG before we had invaded either
Iraq or Afghanistan. They did it as a part of their continuing war
against the West that started in about 1970. Ben Ladin wrote that
they did 9/11 because 5 previous attacks had gone unanswered by
Clinton-- and they abhore cowardice most of all. They admire bravery.
Cower, grovel, beg, and they slit your throat.

Every book on Al Queda and Islam says radical Islam is in a "1000 year
war" against the West. Infidels must die. For the radicals among
them, their religion cannot coexist with ours. America and the UK
are the most prominent symbols of non-believing countries-- thus we
are their primary target. They believe they are doing God's work to
die while killing you, hence there is no shortage of suicide bombers,
many with Master's degrees in Engineering, such as Ben Ladin himself.
They are coming here--AFTER they conclude the present emergency in
Iraq-- to ensure that country does not become a peaceful place in the
middle of Muslim Arabia. Such a symbol would be intolerable to their
recruiting.

They are coming-- and those who want us to quit in Iraq will be to
blame when it happens. If their first attacks here are bad enough,
Democrats will be consigned to the political wilderness for 40 years!
Never to be trusted with leadership again.

yup -- I had elbow surgery in March I have struggled with my game for the
last few weeks -- 8.6 index shooting 86 - 92---

A couple days ago one of my regular golf buddies helped with me when he
caught up with us -- he knows my swing better than I do & I know his better
than him.

Ha had me straightened out in 2 holes.

That day I was 10 over after 6 holes --- and had my tee ball wet on 7 when
he corrected me.

I finished with an 84.

I shot a 39 tonight in 30 mile per winds.

I told him I owe his $45.00 for the tip.

Life is looking up --

Iraq is just a skirmish in the global war. We cannot "win" there
because Al Queda will never give up. Al Queda cells are here too--
and their threat will never lessen. So far since 9/11 the CIA says
we have thwarted 20+ deadly attack schemes-- but that cannot continue.
The odds are against it. We would need to be right every time and
they only have to be right every now and then. And as we have seen
in Iraq, they learn and continuously apply ever more deadly and clever
weapons.

And some here hate that we learned from the Guantanamo prisoners, tgat
we trace money transfers around the world, and that we use electronic
interception to listen to their plans. When our own libs get their
way, the attacks will succeed.

You should really look at who you're aligning yourself with a little
more closely, Edwin (and BTW, it's *rec*.skiing.alpine). Scott Abraham
is the only guy to ever get himself banned by court order from posting

Earlier today you denied your requests for "examples" were made to say
the person you asked them of was wrong or lying if they didn't comply
with your request. Thanks for proving, a short time later, that
you're a bald-faced liar.

Yet you fail to provide examples to back the things you claim, and you
feel all you have to do is declare yourself to be "right." One of
your dodges was lack of keywords, but as usual you don't live by the
standards you attempt to impose on others.

In lieu of a quote of the Mayor of R'lyeh saying Apple is going out of
business, I'll accept your admission that you're a pathelogical liar.

I regularly provide examples to back up the things I claim.

Like when I provided examples of Pixar posting jobs listings for Mac OS
X System Administrators in order to show they do use Macs. Or when I
provided examples of your CPU-hours used to show you were using more
than one PC to pretend your "one machine" was producing more Seti@home

That's a fair statement.....and I'm kinda glad, given the money

Hmmmmm.
I've never met Baker. He doesn't have the balls. He's a stalking freak who
has repeatedly harassed me.
Let's count the lies.
Not innocent, to be sure. Never met me. I have not had a drink in over
eighteen years.
Either this freak is insane, or......

Level I. I'm Level III Mountain Guide Certified by the American Avalanche
Institute. Stick to the groomed slopes teaching the snowplow. I'd ski you
to death. You don't have the skills to survive backcountry wild snow with
no avalanche control and no Ski Patrol to babysit your insignificance.

Say, does that pay well? Because I'm wondering why you live in parking
lot behind somebody's store...
