i thought i saw a ball tampering attempt this morning.

sturat clark was meticulously picking something from the ball.

the camare want to see where tha ball was after dravid's dismissal.

of course it was in clark's was woking picking something from the ball
with his nails.

a host of australian fans would stand up to defend clark, or to send
hate mails.

they can't tell me why the ball was in clark's hand, not with the
umpires.

they can't tell me whhy the camera moved on momentarily.

nobody will report to the match referee, and the incident will not
even find its way to the printed pages.

And for that matter why it took Mark Benson too long to warn
the australian bowler Stuart Clark to STOP roughing up the pitch
by running on the pitch on his follow through

AND

Australian batsman either Hogg or Gilly (I forgot) yesterday
running on the pitch after defensive pushes/plays.

Dude, rsc is a microcosm of the prejudiced australian
culture. You can see the same bigoted mentality of
hating and abusing subcontinental bowlers while
completely ignoring western bowlers cheating and
chucking and ball tampering and even in cases of
racism incidents.

They are never neutral.

I'd be interested to see footage of this incident, I missed it on Nein's
coverage. Then we might be able to help answer your questions above.

Cheers

The excuses have been coming out since Day 1. Amusing as it is pathetic,
it's funny when you can spot sore losers come out of the woodwork even
before any one team has any advantage, especially those one or two childish
idiots who're trying to make the whole thing into an affair about racism
but all they've done is make dickheads of themselves in front of everyone
here. I say let them keep shooting themselves in the foot. If Australia win
this game it will apparently be because both the Umpires are racist and
because all of the Australian bowlers are chuckers. If it wasnt for those
two factors India would've won easily - apparently.

you are trying to throw a blanket at all indian fans because one or
two of them thought india was doing well on the first day.

indians were worried about their bowling on the australian pitches.

they were excited to see less than 350 on the board.

then their long batting line up failed.

but these are isolated fans.

but, a number of us remember reasons like noisy stadiums, non-bouncy
pitches, pollution, bad hotels, poor travel arragements, hot, smog,
bad food, bad umpiring and so on when certain teams were grounded to
dust by the rice eating inferior asians.

going by the maturity in your postings, probably you were not born yet
when all those happened.

these comments were made by the players and senior commenrators, mind
you.

india will lose this match, which will disappoint the indian fans.

probably they want their team to e at least competitive.

Don't be silly, I haven't said any blanket remarks about Indian fans, just
the one or two idiots here who've been making up excuses since day 1. Namely
Yorker and whatever drugs he's on.

Exactly

Everyone does, Australian fans included

Whoa- settle down! I can certainly remember days when tours to the
sub-continent were "difficult", and a number of the factors you outline
above did contribute. The standard of accommodation and facilities are now
vastly different- although I understand some of the ground facilities are
not great (interview on the radio yesterday ). However, a question? Which
particular tour are you talking about when Australia was "grounded to dust?"

I saw the incident you described and didn't see anything in it. A lot
of players do that i.e. try to clean the ball. As long as he was not
rubbing anything into the ball or deliberately picking away at the
seam then it's ok.

Like all Kiwis I support anyone playing Australia so I am biased, but
against Australia.

Racist Dave Turner,

Standing up to racists is NOT racism.

rsc is a microcosm of the prejudiced australian

Racist Idiot Dave Turner,

Indian fans had a reason to be jubilant since 337 was Australia's
LOWEST score in 2007 in a completed I1.

Your existence on this planet is a complete waste.

He said "certain teams", not necessarily Australia.

In any case India mauled Australia 2-1 in 1997/98. They lost the
dead rubber test in Bangalore.

McGrath played the first test and still Australia lost.

I would like to highlight the over before lunch on 29th Dec 07.

Channel 9's camera's caught Stuart Clarke picking out the seam of the
ball with his fingernail. Surrounded by Brett Lee and Andrew Symonds!
(Hmm...interesting....wonder if that's why he was so successful....)

There was a nervous murmur as the commentary team went dead at that
moment for a few nervous seconds.....only then the stupid cameraman
realised his folly and cut that frame out.

Guess Aussies are above the law, and don't tamper balls and "there
will be no investigation....."I saw, and 12 other people in the room saw
this including the kids.....crying shame....they don't need to do this to
beat the Indians!!!
