Burr,
The Patient {My Brother-in-Law} is OK -but- CBD means
that every month there is less and less of him there.

I am down in Oakland for a day or two : It has been
over a year since I have been down here.
KTRB-AM 860 kHz sounds very good
But - Now most of the Off-the-Air TV is for
Non-English Speakers so it is almost like
being back in the 1960s again with about
6-8 TV Channels to hear English on and
everything else is foreign to me.
RANT - - -
If Bilingual Education and Bilingualism is so
important -and- Learning English also so
important to being Successful in American :
Then -why isn't- it a Requirement that All
US TV Foreign Language Broadcasts have
the SAP Channel proadcast the Program
in the English Language or use a bottom of
the screen Moving English Text just like
many English TV News Programs do.
Plus - Since we are having IBOC on FM Radio
why isn't it a Requirement that All US Radio
Stations broadcasting in a Foreign Language
broadcasts an English translation on their
HD-2 Second HD Radio Channel to attract
and serve the English Speakers in their Radio
Listening Area. -It's About Equality and Fairness.
- - - end-of-rant
However, right now I am watching {listening to}
"Russia Today" presented in English on KMTP
TV Ch. # 32 - 8:45 PDT - They also have DW TV
in English during the Day and their own TV News
program "The 5-Day News" is very interesting for
News of Affrica, Asia and the Third-World.

HtH,
After 40+ Years of Shortwave Radio Listening (SWL'ing)
you know what you hear and can decern the 'sounds'
of different Languages. Like the sounds of different kinds
of Music to ones ears. Not to complex of and idea and
realy simple to understand.

OK, and station calls, tunes, etc. surely will help.
Anyway, I did think you really understood what they were
talking about in that news bulletin.

Closer to : North 37.78 -and- West 122.24
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=n37.78%20w122.24
OK, so we still have a maximum of 60 minutes in 1°. :-)
HtH - You got it Mapped out now ?
Think so.
N37.78° W122.24°
means between N37.77500 and N37.78500
and between W122.23500 and W122.24500
So it could be any place within a distance of
709 m (775 yd) from
N37.78000° W122.24000°
(which is 70 m or 77 yd from Cotton Sreet).
Max. 455 m (498 yd) north of Cotton Sreet
Max. 360 m (394 yd) east of Cotton Sreet
Max. 530 m (580 yd) south of Cotton Sreet
Max. 500 m (547 yd) west of Cotton Sreet
Right?
