A few months ago, I happened to pick up a news broadcast by a man in
English and from the USA, I believe, that promoted itself as an
unbiased news source. At the time it was showing flaws in the
economic recovery plan. They even have a web site, which had
advertised a hand crank SW radio among other things.

I have since lost the frequency and the web site.

Even with this little information, does anybody know the station or
the web site?

Thanks.

Yes, Alex Jones is clearly a source of unbiased news, since his
conspiracies involve fantasies from both the left and right...

As others have suggested, the most likely guess is Alex Jones, just on
the basis of sheer volume of airtime.

Could you describe the show's format a little more? More than one
host? Guests? Were they selling anything (gold)?

I can throw out some more names if you have some more details.

You need to tune into Alex---why? well if half the stuff he says is
true-then dang we are in deep crap.
Anarchy could be on the horizon. Martial Law, One world order, yeah all
of that. Let's pray that it doesn't come true. In Telamondeese (don't
take offense now Telamon) Alec Jones could be a Kookabura (maybe not correct
spelling) -------------------maybe just plain "KooK". But you know he's got
his whole life wrapped up in that stuff. Man I hope it is not true. I must
confess I listen to him a lot on my Sangean wfr 20 Internet stream. 24 hr a
day -streaming. We need him on the air. He is the watchdog. With all the
crooks in Washington--yeah we need the Watchdog. Ron Paul he's good
to---makes good sense to me. Wish I had voted for him.

Alex Jones ?? I'd like to meet him. I believe he respects God. He's got
great radio.

If you look down the page at "External links" there is an MP3 recording
of its call. This recording is what I think about when reading a certain
individuals posts to put them into perspective.

Apparently the laughing Kookaburra doesn't like classic tube radios.
This dislike most likely extends to any radio. The Kookaburra probably
finds them to confusing to operate or maybe it just doesn't like the
aural competition. He probably thinks we are all radio nerds.

If an EMP happens, good old tube type radios will keep on working. The
Russians still build and use some tube type radios/equipment for certain
applications.Perhaps China does too.I own a lot of tube type radios and
transistor radios.I am not worried about my old tube type radios.I own a
few old crystal radios too.I own a 1960s four cylinder Mercedes Benz
diesel engine I bought for $350.00 from J.C.Whitney company back around
1974.I need to fine me an old junk yard vehicle to put my diesel engine
in, an EMP won't affect that diesel engine at all.Probally won't affect
my 1914 Ford Model T Runabout Roadster car or my 1948 Willys Jeep
either. An EMP would most likely fry the electronics in modern day
vehicles.Sometimes, Old timey thingys are the best.

That's kind of the way I look at it, IMO if ANYTHING he says is either
going down or going to happen.....that is not a good thing. I like
Alex and I appreciate what he does for all of us actually.

Good post Cuhulin. Maybe you and doggie can go visit a junkyard or put
an add in the local paper and get you a chassis for the motor. Then
you and doggie can hit the road if/when the SHTF.

Readers of this group are also familiar with your whacky Obama BC
claims, and many more, such as claiming I've been posting here for over
a decade, yet don't have any SW receivers.

Pretty whacky stuff, Telemundoh, even for a kooktard.

It's time you got some help, Telemundoh. Maybe it's not too late, and
you can figure out what almost everyone else has, that Obama was born in
Hawaii, like the BC says. But to be honest, I think you're doomed to a
life of profound kooktardery.

The key word there is "tend." I hope neither of us ever find out. I
saw on either the history or military channel....probably military
channel, a gentleman (don't know his credentials) explained what would
happen if there was an EMP blast and then explained what damage would
occur depending on the altitude at which the bomb exploded. At one of
the levels he said what many of us have heard at one time or another,
that anything with updated technology would be fried. He did say that
older technology "would more than likely" not be affected. Hope we
never find out.

I think I have SW receivers? You're right Telemundoh, I do! Congrats,
you got something right for once.

Of course, since I really do have SW receivers, 6 to be exact, that's a
logical thing to believe.

Why and how could I decide to off myself "again", Telemundoh, since I
never decided to a first time? You're confused again, or maybe still.

Who is "hysterical" Bob? You maybe over exaggerating in your words
there? ;-) That's fine that you are not worried about anything,
definitely makes life easier that way.;-) Hopefully if the big
earthquake ever hits that area (that I was taught was going to happen
back when I was in the 6th grade) and you survive, you won't be in
front of the tv cameras crying saying "I've lost everything" etc. etc.
etc.

Same thing with New Orleans, I was taught from at least the 6th grade
that is was only "when" the big one (hurricane) would devastate that
entire area....that it sits in the bottom of the soup bowl. EVERYONE,
that I know at least, knew that you would absolutely have to be a fool
to live there. Fast forward to Katrina...."Where's our gubiment, we
need our gubiment....lol." All I did through all of that was cut a
small two hundred check and send it and shake my head and roll my
eyes. I won't be cutting one ****when**** the "Big One" hits the Cali
area, sorry guys in here that live there but I just don't understand
it. <ducking beer bottles>

That was cool that you said that, the Nike Bases. Me and a friend
maybe back in 94-95 "unexpectedly" drove into one around 4am. We taped
running into this property out in Felicity, Ohio (I was in my "fun
car" with 6 antennas on it). Pretty wild night, I saw these
big....like an upside down J.....spaced out and coming out of the
ground and I said "Those are vents for something underground".....make
a long story short - - after doing a search on the internet - - found
out that the property was once a Nike Missile Base. The friend that
was with me later on went back out there and the owner of the property
actually took him wayyyy under ground and showed him around.

I remember my dad telling me back then that hardly anyone he knew
believed that there was underground Nike Missile Bases. They were
thought of as "nuts".....maybe even "kooks".....lol.<rolling my eyes>
Indeed yearssss later we now know there was missiles stored
underground. Thank god we now have the internet to archive those
stupids kooks. Those silly stupid kooks back then actually thought
there were missiles stored underground all over the United
States...lol. ;-) Gotta love human behavior.

Just asking Bob, are you an expert in the field? After you use your
receivers do you unplug the antennas from your radio or shunt them all
to ground? Just curious. Not EMP related, I'll beat you to that this
time.

No I don't find humor, I find stupidity, and I don't mean to sound
crass about it either. Kind of like living in tornado alley area and
not having a tornado shelter or a basement etc. etc. or insurance for
that.....if that is even possible in those areas. I constantly see
news of hurricanes and tornados EVERY season and I can't help but
shake my head and when I hear or see someone on tv just losing
it.....like they thought it would never happen and sadly just kind of
chuckle...in a sad way...not a laughing way. I know it isn't EMP
related. ;-)

I can't wait to see how many years go by before everyone stops blaming
Bush for everything. Much of the early Bush Admin. problems were
because of things Clinton and company enacted. But hardly anyone
brought that up, especially the media. The country can't just keep
blaming things on him anymore, the annointed leader is now in the
White House <cough> and he is "Transparent".....as is his cabinet
<rolling my eyes> and he wants and won on "CHANGE" and then basically
stockpiled his cabinet with people from the Clinton Admin.<shaking my
head> But it's all good, it'll get better. Right? ;-)

Just curious Bob. Why is that you do not want your posts archived by

This base was easy to miss because it is out in the country, flat
land. The only clue was the old tattered remnants of an old military
style guardshack at the entrance for lack of a better word. If you
didn't know that at one time it was a military base you wouldn't have
had a clue till you (if you noticed them like I did) saw the
underground vents spaced throughout the land. You can type into Google
- - Felicity Nike Missile Base and then zoom over the property and see
it.

That was a good picture, there was none of that in the one I saw. Just
a lot of vents and a structure that had an elevator that you hand
pulled or released to go down into where the missiles were stored. My
friend estimated anywhere from twenty to thirty feet underground, who
knows. That plot of land is now privately owned the last time I
checked, someone sure has a good bunker for them or family.

- Just curious Bob. Why is that you do not want your posts archived by
- Google? I noticed that you requested it not be archived and that it
be
- removed from Google in five days. Just curious. This should be good.

BCG -if- You post to "OB's" Post and effectively
capture his Text {Post} then you have 'archived'
his Post forever on Google. - atab ~ RHF

Those are great links RHF, I looked at everyone. Do you see the
comparison I am using in the fact that back when they were being built
many said people were nuts. Even after many of them were built, many
people just stated that they were "simply army bases and nothing
more." Kind of like what is being talked about here with "camps" being
built and their purpose.. Many in here are labeled as "kooks" or
crazy.....even though we/I know for a fact they are being built
because I physically drove up to one myself twice. <shaking my head>

I need to put my 1914 Ford Model T Runabout Roadster car on to my old
tandem axels four wheels trailer, sitting in my back yard.Trailer has
some brackets on the sides for 2'' by 4''s.I am going to enclose my
trailer with plywood and fix it up so it looks like an Irish Tinker
caravan horse pulled thingy.Paint some Shamrocks on the sides.Damn
stinking city govt doesn't want anybody to have ann cars parked on the
ground/grass/dirt, running or not.Damn commie a.s a.sholes!

Exactly, that is why I thought it doesn't make much sense but if
that's the way he wants to do it. No biggie, I've always wanted to ask
that question, not to him, but it just happened to be him. ;-)
