I'm planning on voting for a Republican this year, for the first time in
my life, because he supported Obama. So, that means you can vote for
Obama and cancel out the disturbance from my vote.

See, wasn't that easy.

Both those statements are true.

However, the "rest of the story" is that many people perceive Hillary as
a cold, calculating, manipulative, scheming shrew of a "Dragon Lady", to
say nothing of my view of her being a carpetbagger when she 'moved' to
New York (like she ever lived there before or had family there). A
CLASSIC case of carpetbagging.

IMHO, the choice we have of all four 'major' candidates is quite
discouraging... :-(

Just about every post I've ever seen where US politics/policy come up
your contribution reads in the negative to me. Okay, perhaps you are
not the most anti-American for there is always David with whom you may
share that honor. You obviously see things differently than I, that's
your prerogative. What would work toward changing my sentiment is
instead of posting every faux-pas made by America you actually threw

different.

I doubt he'd let religion get in the way of running a government more
faithful to the Constitution.

We are therefore a nation of carpetbaggers.

(BTW: If the "classic definition" is #2, what is #1?)

When you get down to it Mike, the way this country is being run
by the bush crime family, it's like living in Berlin-1938. or,
maybe Moscow-1954. with the loss of all our freedoms, and the
reins of of the Fed handed over to all these big corps; it's
just no fun here anymore. and just Tuesday, our so-called elected
officials, gave the big tel-cos a free ticket to spy on all of
us for the bushie boys. all we can hope for is people open their
eyes and see whats really going on in this country. all the lies,
and such. i remember people bragging about voting for bush. and,
looking at who is running, God help us all. and, a lot the people
still believe rush, the dope head, and o'riley (sp) the pervert.
so, where do we go from here?

Drifter...

Your bringing Joe to light is appreciated - it was not that he does
not make the cut, rather a function of the author's memory.

As to other categories - go for it. I am curious to see who you
