Help ID: Russian Like Station on 11700 kHz 0815 (UTC) - ???

Could anyone shed any light on this station, been try to get station ID, I
think it migh be Radio Bulgaria, but the Station ID always comes on a fade
cycle :(

Interesting,

The station ID sounds like "Radio Sal..boda.." nothing sound like "Liberty"
Hmmmmm Are you able to receive the station ? its 44444 here in Canberra,
AUS.

Got it,
Done a google on Radio Solboda and it gave me:
http://www.svobodanews.ru/ Listening to live audio, the interbet broadcast
is a good 30 sec behind. But bugger me. Got the bastard.

No, it won't sound like "Liberty" as "Liberty" is English... However "Svoboda"
is I believe, Russian for "Liberty"! The ID is most likely "Govorit Radio
Svboda" = "This is Radio Liberty".

I didn't bother to try and receive it. I've a thunderstorm moving through at the
moment.

My father worked for Radio Liberty for 30 years, he would be happy that people are posting about it. People like Louis Armstrong and Eleanor Roosevelt were on the station in the 50's, being interviewed, sometimes by my dad, an American who worked with Soviet emigres to broadcast the news of the Soviet Union and the world back to the people of the USSR who could not get this news, censored as it was by the government.
