Had a great 3 hours DXing today here in The Philippines.

All of the freq,s listed came in fine and clear. We have a TS almost on top
of us and still DXing was great.

Ever eat the Philippine food called panzit (or pansit)? The Andersen
AFB (Guam) chow hall served it and I loved it.

"THE FIRESIDE" GARLIC NOODLES -Recipe-

-makes-two-large-bowls-
1 PKG Chicken Breasts
12 oz Japanese Dry Noodles (or I used spaghetti)
4 14.5 oz cans chicken broth
cup green onions (chopped)
cup red onions (chopped)
cup Parmesan or Romano cheese
Ingredients for each bowl:
2 Tbs garlic powder
1 Tbs dried parlsey
1 tsp onion powder
tsp black pepper
tsp salt
2 tsp butter
dash of Accent (optional)
dash of hot pepper sauce

Put chicken broth in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add chicken, reducing heat and simmer, til chicken
Is done, about 20 minutes. Leave chicken broth
simmering to keep hot.
Cut up chicken into small dice or shred and set aside.
Cook noodles according to pkg directions.
Drain well put back In pot to keep warm.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt,
pepper, hot pepper sauce, parsley
And butter to large bowl then stir
in one cup of hot chicken broth.
Add cooked noodles to fill bowl.
Top noodles with chicken, red and green onions
Parmesan cheese and more broth as needed.
Top with more butter.

Hey! That fault runs about 10 miles North of here and hasn't moved since
1857. It has about 20 feet of energy stored up (my house is supposed to
move about 4" closer to Bruce Jensen's house every year). If it rips
it'll cause $100B in damage easy.

It's been a few years, but if IIRC, the Andersen AFB pancit had bits
of pork, chicken (I think), shrimp, scrambled egg, green pepper,
onions, and a lime slice ... all on a bed of medium-thick rice noodles
and fried rice. It was soooooooo good!

Z.They travel around the World, checking out the local Cusine.They eat
the weirdest kinds of sheet.
