soldiers and Iraqi prisoners. This is a political topic, none of the
posters have suggested they heard about any of this on SW, and the topic
initators have started these over again with slightly different emphasis
one initial furor dies down. People, you are being baited. Every
follow-up post to one of these is positive reinforcement.
To the trolls - please consider a political NG or maybe "politics and
abuse". You make Americans look stupid to the rest of the world with
intemperate and profane posts.

I was cautioned about the amount of garbage on this NG before I joined. Being a new DXer I decided to take the plunge anyway. Thank God my browser has a Mark Thread Read button; it saves me from a lot of wallowing thru the drek.
This group does offer a lot of great information and expertise about radio. I have learned more than I ever new I didn't know. (Apologies to Yogi Berra) I plan to keep reading and keep learning.
Sadly, once a radio subject morphs into adolescent flaming and potty mouthing, it also gets Marked because there's no point in following it any more. Aren't there other NGs devoted to the exchange of opinion about political and other topics?
My thanks to those posters who are up front about labeling their subjects as OT. This allows those of us who have no interest to skip those threads and move along quickly.
