Nice. Wish I had a better location - those stations, no matter what
antenna and radio I use, are only a pipe dream.
BpnJ,
You Just make a List of the Target SW Frequencies
and Keep-on Checking It a couple of times a week;
week after week.
Program a Block of Ten "Target" Frequencies into
your Icom IC-R75 Receiver and go through these
Presets Daily. Update Presets as you Hear them
and Log them.
Remember the Shortwave Radio "Conditions" are
only 'Right' : When and if, you have the Radio 'On';
and you are Listening-To the Radio ;;-}}
listening to the shortwave radio :
it's just 'right' with me~ RHF
NOTE : I tuned around for the 'other' ABC National
{Domestic} Shortwave Radio Stations; but did not
even get a Carrier.

I did hear several Koreans down there at the same
time; and 2850 kHz had Listenable with Music S-7
and SIO 333 ~ RHF

FWIW : The Early Morning Gray-Line seems to be
the best time to try for these on the NA West Coast.

This is basically what I do, mentally. Those domestic Aussie services
are down in the 120m freq region where I get blasted 24-7 by horrid
electrical noise and mixing products from those several blowtorch
local MW stations a couple miles away. Those freqs are essentially a
locked closet to me. I can hear a couple of the Korean outlets where
they pop up, and WWV is easy of course - the mass of noise there just
blows everything else away.
Nice. Still a pipe dream here.
