Songwriting, Harmony and Upright Bass Workshops in Oxford, PA on April
19th

Hello all:

Barry & Holly Tashian, award-winning Nashville singer-songwriters, who
have recorded with Emmylou Harris, Charlie Louvin, Nanci Griffith,
Iris DeMent, Suzy Bogguss, and Gram Parsons and written songs that are
performed by well known roots musicians, will be giving a concert for
the Brandywine Friends of Old-Time Music (BFOTM) in Newark, DE on
Friday, April 18, 2008 at 8pm. More about BFOTM at www.Brandywinefriends.org.

For the April 18 concert, Barry & Holly will be performing with their
talented bass player, Ross Sermons. Barry & Holly have a magical,
close vocal harmony sound, reminiscent of the great brother duets.
Their original material is elegant and deeply rooted in American
musical traditions.

Barry, Holly & Ross have consented to give workshops in Oxford, PA on
Saturday, April 19, 2008.

11:00 AM - Barry & Holly will lead a harmony-singing workshop

1:30 PM - Barry & Holly will conduct a songwriting workshop.

3:45 - Ross will teach various techniques & tricks for playing upright
bass.

Price for each the two hour long workshops will be $40, with a
discount for those who take more than one. If you are interested in
attending one or more of these workshops, or if you would like more
