sangeet ka nissandeh pratinidhitwa kiya. Aur in sangeetkaaron ke
maadhyam se us poore daud ke sabhi sangeetkaaron ko humne apni
shraddhanjali arpit kee. Chalte chalte sangeetkaar Khemchand Prakash
ke swarbaddha film Tansen ka yeh geet suniye Kundan Lal Saigal ki
awaaz mein.

Guzre zamaane ke in sangeetkaaron ne film sangeet ka jo deepak
prajwalit kiya tha, uski lau ko unke baad aanewaale sangeetkaaron ne

sunnewaalon ke dilon ke andhere ko door kar rahi hai apni chamak se.
Chalte chalte hum bas yahi aap se guzaarish karenge ki jab bhi aap is
daud ke sangeetkaaron ke chamakdaar geeton pe thirak uthe, ek baar un
bhoole bisre sangeetkaaron ko zaroor yaad kar len jinhone film
sangeet ki is atoot parampara ki shuruwaat kee thi. Aaj film sangeet
ke 75 varsh poorti ke upalakshya mein un sangeetkaaron ko Vividh
Bharati ka vinamra naman.

The title of the article is "Quality Article"? :)


I find it distracting to read that much Hindi in ascii. A
quick glance came up with one serious error. The singer of
"piyaa milan ko jaanaa" is not Saigal, but Pankaj Mullick.

Ashok is right - reading so much Hindi in non-iTrans English script is
taxing to the eyes and the brain.

Anyway, the song "terii gathrii mein laagaa daag...." is not
".daag...." but "......chor".

There are too many grammatical errors (gender/verb based related to the
noun/s) to point out.

Poor Sujoy. He should have realised he would have been better off by
first making the article public by broadcasting or publishing in a
magazine or whatever, seeking public feedback, incorporating them in
the article and then finally publishing it in RMIM. But KCP, you should
have known that at least! RMIM takes quality matters seriously. :-)

He could have made millions and won national awards by expanding this
into a full-fledged book :)
Many people are doing just that!

I just bought and read a book on Dev Anand. Generally good info. Some
stuff I did not know before. But horrible misprints and grammatical
errors in English as well as Hindi. Even in popular songs that everybody
knows by heart. Published by Rupa and Co written by Alpana Chowdhury.
