I dont think this Anti Carl Fogarty thing is an anti - Brit thing
at all. Its an anti-plonker thing. Anyone who wins god knows
how many races on end (as he once did) and still rides around thrusting
his digit into the camera to show everyone that he is number one
is a dork! What other racer in recent times has been so full of it.
I know none of the kiwis or Aussies would be so arrogant, and even
the brashest of the Americans would have more class.
Foggy had it coming.
Jeff Lyall
I concur.
I am a Brit who has lived in the US for 37 years. I have no time for
either Russell or Foggy.

You're just jealous 'cause there's never been any descent kiwi racers!
It's only natural when you're pumped from winning that you want to shout
about it, and the media know how to prompt him to say the juicy stuff,
'cause that's their job.

I thought Crosby was a Brit, when he was racing, and retired to NZ
afterwards.
What's the straight guano?

He may have been born in Britain, but he came to Oz from EnZed and
was always touted as a Kiwi. He was mainly a four-stroke specialist
(Kawa Z1-R, etc) but I think I still have the video of his first outing
on a GP bike -- a TZ350 at Oran Park. He humiliated the field by going
way over his head and eventually went too far one too many time and
crashed in the last corner. Of course you all know that the reason for
his retirement is why I still can't warm to Randy Mamola, even if he is
covering the pits for Eurosport TV this year...
