I'd say the likely price is;
a) $250 - nice round number and cheaper than the other consoles. More
likely if one of the others drops to $149.99 US.
b) $275 - close to what the exchange rate is. This is the more probable price.
The $299 price was, IMO, a desire on Nintendo's part to have the N64
come in under the $300 mark. What with the price drop, they don't have
that problem anymore.
The new M.S.R.P. for the N64 in Canada in $279.99. It was $299.99.
May Mario bless you all on Sept. 29!

Well, the Playstation is $199US and it sells for $275 at Babages in
Edmonton. I expect the N64 would be similar in pricing...

Well, the latest press release said the N64's price has been cut down to
$150 in the U.S. so I would assume it might cost around $225-250 in Canada.
By the way, Sony announced that the Playstation's price will be lowered to
$150 also. Saturn will stay at $200. Bad move SEGA.
where did you hear this??? Nintendo has not and will not cut the price
of the N64 down to $150 for some time (its still $199 US) and Sony has
not anounced that the psx will drop to $150, this may happen but it
has not yet been confirmed.
Now where would anyone get the idea that a company would make thier
game system actually affordable; Variety or Star.
the N64 will be 279.99 in canada and mario will be 84.99
