Hello!

Redesigning one of my older decks, and looking for a fortitude press,
I cam across this strange problem:

Can I play Hidden Strength for X=-1, thus prevent 0 and gaining one
blood, with an optional press in superior?

Card text according to the Camarilla Edition:

Hidden Strength, Combat
Cost: X

(for) Prevent X+1 damage.
(FOR) As above, with an optional press.

Thanks,

Patrick

No, you can't pay negative costs for cards.

However, Dragos with Fortitude can pay 0 to prevent an infinite amount
of damage with Hidden Strength :)

He still can't use it for a press if there's no damage to prevent, though.
