[LSJ] first strike withering

if i use Shadow Feint to make my superior Withering first strike and the
opposing minion plays a Majesty, does the Majesty still take effect?

if i am the acting vamp and play my strike, can the opposing vamp even play the
Majesty?

Yes and yes.
Even if Withering is played with First Strike the opposing minion always
gets to play his strike. Once played it will resolve normally, since
Withering only prevents the playing of discipline cards, not their
resolution. Even if it did prevent the resolution of discipline cards,
Majesty would still resolve, since S:CE resolves before any other strikes,
even those played with First Strike.

The card has *already* been played, so sure.

Yes. Withering hasn't taken effect.
