Taken at the "high point" of the show on Saturday evening when the
games
should all have arrived and not have left yet.

Game list is deliberately left unsorted, so that you can get a feeling
of
what games were next to each other and their overall placement.

Wow! looks like a ton of games. Is there a # of total Vids vs. Pins?
Any info on the tournaments? Qualifiers/Winners?
I like the comments, but you know that Propcycle/Addams is cool!! -

I didn't see too many pins for sale though besides the newer Sterns,
it seemed like there was more last year. And PAGG a couple months ago
had tons of pins with decent prices Guess these shows tend to take on
a life of their own.

That wasn't a joke, I've actually been looking for a Flintstones. For
such an unpopular game, they hardly ever come up for sale.

Yes it was for sale, about $1600-1700 iirc. San Jose seller, price
tag said delivery was included.

Flintstones doesn't seem too rare in the bay area. There's been a San
Leandro one in ebay stores for $2k for awhile. Also a craigslist
dealer has one, the July 19 Baywatch listing has contact info. He
might be same one selling at CaEx, not sure.

The right flippers were intermittent on that game but it was the
nicest I've seen lately, they all seem to be well used.
Kinda fun game though. Funny how this hobby is. I've been in it for 2
yrs now and I find myself gravitating towards the lesser known pins.
Guess that's because you see the more popular ones again and again.
Probably stating the obvious to those of you into pins awhile

CAX was great this year. As a matter of fact, I have yet to attend a
show anywhere that was bad!

See you at PPE in October!

On Sunday about noon I did a quick count of the pins left at the show
and counted 135 pins (including those in the Pinball tournament and
the raffle give away)
And I think only about 4-5 pins had left (early) by then.

The usual suspects were cleaning up at the pinball tournament.
Saw Jim Belsito playing Centaur and on 1st ball he "only" got
9,600,000 pts,
teased him what was the matter, couldn't turn it over?. ;>)
he ended up with about 13.600,000 (3 ball game).
I do not know the final results of the EM or solid state or Modern DMD
game tourneys.

They were sent to someone to post on the CAX website and I was CC'd on
the email.
No info as to what else, if anything, has been done with these
results.

They usually get updated on the first of the month.

Get ready for all the hot chicks you'll be getting once they hear
you're ranked 999th in the world. Better stock up on Viagra. You're
gonna need it! d;^)

No points that I know of for the Casual Division because it's not an
Open division. =(

Aside from the RGP folks and my family no one will even know.

Besides, Keith Elwin has cornered the market on any Pin Groupies, if
they even exist!

Don't put away the black book away yet. You may get participation
points (1/4 or 1/2 point). Or, if you finished in the top 50% of any
of the 3 divisions you might receive partial points for that.

The pin groupies watch the rankings closely. I'll take any 1/4 point I
can get!
