looking to score big on capturing one of the most coveted prizes in

What really sucks is the fact that I know Steve's got sniping software
and isn't afraid to use it. ;-) I once sniped an auction with 10
seconds left. Guess what.......Steve comes in with 8 seconds left and
beats me by .02.

This could get ugly, come 8:10 or so. Pull up a chair and stay tuned.

Seriously, I haven't had this much fun with a thread in quite some
time. The mugs and shirts are going to one hell of a nice guy and I
like to think we had a little something to do with sending 3 kids to
college someday.

I can see it now. When Mike's as old as me and the three kids come
over to visit, he'll tell them about these goofy bast*rds and the blue,
red and orange Circus mugs.......and the kids will say, ahhhhhh, sure
Uncle Mike, whatever you say, Uncle Mike. :-)

Bryan, I'm almost as old as you NOW (just guessing I'm 45). And yes I will
see Jake in another month or two and I will tell him about your support. It
is amazing how at 9yrs old he knows what and why we are trying to do for him
and his brother and sister. He showed up at the golf outing last Oct. and
thanked every golfer there he told me that he never knew his DAD had so many
friends :-)

Thanks to ALL of you guys for the most entertaining thread I have seen and
for your support for these kids.

Hey Guys,

Good news and bad news....

The bad news is that the auction is over, I'm the lucky winner, and
I've paid Mike via paypal.

The good news is that if the 2nd place bidders want the mugs &
T-shirts, just send your final bid amount to Mike and he's been
instructed to send you the booty. This basically will double the
donation to the B3K education fund.

My only request is that if any of the 2nd place bidders are local to SS
Billiards, please visit Lloyd and play $20 of pinball during the month
of March to help support the guy who provided these goodies!

This is the most "fun" I've had at an auction since the Expo banquet,
where my so-called "friends" livened up the auction by baiting the
person I was bidding against. Every time I raised the bid, they would
start screaming at my poor opponent "are you gonna let this punk get
away with that?!?!? C'mon and show him whose boss!!!!" With friends
like that, auctions are .... expensive ... (Hi Korn, SheKorn, Yancy,
Wolffy, SheWolfy, Craig, Rob et al!)
