Fact: I was frozen by Falcon well over a year ago when DC first came up
for randomly killing everyone that I could. After it was legalized.

Fact: You show your professionalism and superior intelligence through
such articulate flames.

Ok, ok. I get the point. DC is MERC, DC++ is coded by Sadus from the
ground up. Here's my point: I can log into the MERC DC, the OLD one,
type help donations and see that if I send in money, I get cool eq! This
is the DC that you DIDN'T code from the ground up, this is the DC that
the merc/diku team is being kind enough to let you use, and more
importantly, this is the DC that you ARE accepting donations on.

You're unskillfully avoiding that fact. You're saying "sure, I'm
accepting donations for DC++ because I made it from the ground up." What
you SHOULD be saying is that you're accepting donations for both the OLD
DC and DC++.

Here's a tip:
When I type in a command that doesn't exist, stick to 'Huh?' instead of
'Are you typing with your dick?'

I doubt that you were frozen for pkilling, because pkilling has always
been legal on DC...maybe pkilling the same newbie 30 times in a row; that is

sometimes construed as harrassment on DC. Kinda reflects on what a special
kind of dickhead you are, huh?

I had to explain the difference between DC++, a mud I wrote, and DC, a DIKU
mud which runs on the same site. If you had read the paragraph below before
sticking your dick on your keyboard, you would have known that already.

Since DC is using the site that DC++ pays for, it has a "help donation"
screen which explains that we accept donations for the DC++ project. If
you have some kind of problem with that, shove it up your ass.

Here, I'll make it easier for you to understand. I am accepting donations
for a mud that I wrote myself. Those donations pay for the site I am using.
I also run a DIKU mud at that site. You don't like DC? Fine. We've been
throwing parties in the street ever since you left. Maybe now this thread
will die.

Now that wasnt a very nice thing to say to me... I never cheated on DC,
I simply mentioned the fact that Sadus was accepting donations (if you
want to call them that) for his MERC based mud. He brought himself in
here, it seems. I dont remember forcing him to do anything.

Maybe both of you should avoid using the reply and post command?

As I've said before, DC is using a site that DC++ pays for. With that in
mind, there is a "help donations" screen on DC which spells it all out: The
mud you are playing is being paid for by DC++, our real project. If you wish
to donate to this project, read the disclaimer on DC++ and send money to the
address below, etc.
Get the point? You act as if I'm selling something on DC. You have to
keep in mind that when DC++ goes up, DC comes down. It's only up for a few
months while we finish the real thing. Anything you buy on DC will eventually
be lost. All donations will be carried over to the new mud. So why, might
you ask, do people continue to play DC, if they will lose all their eq?
Because I will transfer levels to DC++. Other than that, it's a completely
new and different mud.
Do you have a problem with that? Like I said before, tough shit. No one
cares.

Of COURSE there is a "help donations" screen on Dark Castle. Dark Castle is using
a site that DC++ pays for. There is a help screen on DC informing people of that
fact. Anything they receive on DC is irrelevant; DC will be going down. Their true
reward for donating will be on DC++. I'm not denying anything. Get on DC and read
"help donation". Get on DC++ and read the disclaimer. I don't really care what you
mailed the DIKU team. They will find out the same thing.

>That's my point, and that's why it's so irritating to see you deny it.

Oh please, cut the whining. Why does it irritate you so much? You just can't
handle it? You might think it's unfair, but you can shove it up your ass. The
fact is, I wrote DC++, I can accept donations on it until my ears fall off and there's
nothing you can do about it.
The fact is, DC runs on a site that DC++ pays for, and I have every right to tell
my players that truth. What do YOU care? Why does this have YOU so worked up?

They're all pretty much the same: Peri's a baby, Peri's a dick, I used to mud with
Peri and I don't like him, etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum.

Sadus@DarkCastleMud
Come play DC! Peri doesn't play there, you'll love it!

after all that spam i have only one question:
were it not fer DC where would you be?
diku aside, u are using DC - admittedly diku code - for monetary gain.
again, if DC did not exist, can you honestly say DC++ would be in creation or
even an idea? if yes, would it be any farther away from reality if DC never
was? of course. all one has to do is to login to DC an walk aroun lookin at
dudes. many ppl have donated to sadus's lil phund. dont try to say DC is not
responsible for the money in the mail, where would those checks be if the users
had no link to yer silly lil 'help donations' screen? do you think they would
be sending you email and asking if u had any pet projects to which they could
donate? hmm, as a matter of fact, all u out there readin this just send me
some email and i'll send u a list of causes for which u can send me money.
nah, wait a minute, screw that, JUST SEND ME MONEY.
