Big fucking deal. Plenty of folks are at over 99%, including me.

This guy bid on a penny auction, from overseas, at retail, and expected the
shipping and handling to be pennies, so he could reap profits from reselling
it to some sucker. The fees were listed, clear as crystal, but this
"TITANIUM Powerseller" apparently forgot how to read English. His money was
refunded, even though I could have easily reported him as a non-paying
bidder (which is exactly what he is). I dropped the matter, and ate the
fees, rather than bother. He turned around and waited until just before
feedback could no longer be submitted, and hit me with negatives.

Does anyone else find this to be the work of a scumbag?

The fact that you feel the need to type in all caps speaks volumes, David.
I am obviously hitting very close to home. Folks, watch how this guy is
reacting. Do you really want to do business with someone like this?

> SEEMS YOU HAVE UPSET MORE PEOPLE THAN ME

Oh really? Besides you (and you do not count), I have only been given
negatives by 7 people. I see 30 negatives on yours.

> & WHAT ABOUT THE NEUTRALS
> GONNA EXPLAIN THEM TOO?

Sure. I have about 8 people who have left neutrals. It appears you have
considerably more.

> BTW I WANTED THE FIGURE FOR MY OWN GAME TO REPRESENT MY OWN CHARACTER

Really? Then what was all that bullshit about "I buy these wholesale; I am
a UK retailer"? Once again, you show yourself to be a liar.

Even if that were true, it would not make you less of a dishonest merchant.

Actually, you sent $.30 by PayPal. Since you are a self-proclaimed bigshot
"TITANIUM POWERSELLER," I am sure you are aware that PayPal charges the
payee $.30 plus a percentage. In other words, you knew damned well what you
did was the equivalent of extending your middle finger.

...as do I.

I did not come here to flaunt my wares, scum. I came here to warn folks
about *you*. At least one person has already looked into matters
themselves, determined that you are a weasel, and blocked you. I encourage
others to do so as well.

> unless you want to pay huge S&H then go ahead,

Folks, take into account this guy is whining about having to pay $5.00 for
US to UK shipping & handling.

> look at his feedback its a minefield of negs &
> neutrals,

I agree. If you were to think about buying from me, I would encourage you
to read my feedback, positive, neutral, and negative. I would also
encourage you to read my shipping & handling terms carefully. If you are
not comfortable with them, do not bid. It is no big deal either way,
because I would rather not have a sale than have a sale that left a customer
dissatisfied.

Coming from you, dirtbag, I consider this the highest compliment.

Please provide the specific facts (in all caps, if you must) that you

I will be contacting eBay regarding this. I think that sneak-thieves like
him should not be able to get away with this. At the very least, the limit
should be 90 days or one week after feedback is left by the other party,
whichever is later.

Oh my, look at that, the standard U.S. shipping listed in the auction
($3) is THREE HUNDRED TIMES THE PRICE OF THE ITEM!!!

ANYONE THAT HAS SOLD OR BOUGHT SOMETHING ON EBAY KNOWS THE POST OFFICE
CHARGES A SHIPPING RATE BASED ON THE EBAY PRICE, NOT ON THE WEIGHT OR
ANYTHING!!!

THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE RIP-OFF, THAT SOMEONE WOULD CHARGE YOU A HUGE
$3-$5 FOR SHIPPING!!! THANKS FOR POINTING OUT THESE UNBELIEVABLE FACTS...

Now again, where are specific facts to show "HUGE" shipping and
handling, because your link isn't making it... especially since it
appears that you were alerted up front that shipping would be at least $3.

Sorry, I didn't read the auction closely enough - the auction states
that overseas shipping will add $2 to the U.S. rate. So it's all there
in black and white that shipping was going to be $5.

If you didn't agree to it, why did you bid??? Why did you leave
negative feedback about a shipping amount listed in the auction???

It sure looks like you are the bad guy here...

It was $5.00. The auction charged him $3.00 shipping & handling, along with
a $2.00 surcharge for an international shipment to the UK from the US. The
item was a pair of miniatures. I am guessing the total package would have
been about 4 ounces (rounding up). Checking USPS, that is $3.20 for Airmail
Letter Post. That is not even factoring in listing fees, the cost of
packaging material, handling, or going to the post office to fill out
customs forms.

That is what *I* wondered. I really should have just reported him as a
non-paying bidder as soon as he refused to pay.

As long as the auction listing is still in the eBay system, you can leave
feedback.

I get the following:

Item not found
Item # 5906512756 was not found because:
a.. This item number does not exist
a.. Or you have already left feedback.

Any suggestions?

That's very strange. The link that you posted still takes you to the
auction listing, which suggests it is still in the system. I assume you're
clicking on the 'Leave Feedback' link in the auction listing? You could
always ask eBay about it.

I just emailed them. We'll see how good their "24 hour Powerseller Customer
Support" is.

I hate to keep this going, but has anyone else noted this? I can't
tell if the ALL-CAPS poster is insane or just dumb.

Please be careful about attribution. David "Cougar Rinard" Whitfield is the
big fan of using all caps, not I.

I knew that--and notice that the piece quoted was set aside by a >>
set of double carets. But it was sloppy of me.

The apparently insane person has been in my killfile for a long time,
so I didn't get his post directly, only your citation of it.

Hmm. The dangers of responding based on quotation--I missed both the
identity of the person to whom you were responding and the fact that
that post was satire. I must have been very tired.

No worries.

Why did you killfile him? I am curious.

Obviously neither, if you bothered to read the entire post...

I killfiled "Cougar Rinard" because he posts too often and too
repetitively. I killfiled the person who actually posted the piece
which I thought was insane because he apparently think it's cute to
act like a jackass on Usenet. In this particular case, the post was
actually kind of amusing.
