Stopping sanbaggers and keeping class award$? It's possible
and simple. yes, we may have the cake and eat it too.

In addition to rating the track of the total tournament
winnings of each member have to be kept. Then class prizes
will be awarde to players divided (ad hoc at each tournament
which has such prizes) accordnigng to their $trength.

The $trength of a player is the total of the players tournament
winnings. Thus there can be one prize for players that won 0$
so far. Another for $.01-$50, another for $50.01-150, then
150.01-300 etc, or any way the local tournament director will
decide or organizers.

Then I guess it's reasonably fair that in addition to the
$300-200-100 prizes for the 1-2-3 places in a tournament
there would also be $40-20 for placing 1-2 in the
$trength classes.

PS. I like trivia and statistics. All that stati$tic
would be fun. Perhaps money for placing high in the open
sense and for for placing in the $trength classes should be counted
separately. Different ryles can be applied in different
tournaments how to decide the division of players into $teength
classes: according to the total or just based on the $trength
money won so far. I would vote strongly that only $trenght
money should be taken into account--most of the time.
In small tournaments it's hard to say and it's not too awfully
important. Let them decide always locally, whether it's a big
tournament or small.
