Gives Away Cards
You have the power of giving. Whenever you are involved in a
challenge, before cards are played, you may give one card from your
hand to either of the main players. If you are a main player, you may
give a card to your opponent. The player you give the card to must put
it in his hand or play it immediately.
HISTORY: Rejecting a heavy-handed, dogmatic religious background, the
cynical Philanthropists have learned to parody greed itself. Knowing
the universe cannot bring itself to reject a gift, even when it is no
present, the race has grown cunning in the art of self-serving charity.
FLARE
Infinity
Wild: You can lend your Alien Power to another player for one
challenge. You lose the use of it for that challenge, and the
recipient cannot use his regular power for that challenge.
Infinity
Super: Any player who receives a card from you must play it in that
challenge if he can.

Phase 6
Con: If you are a main player and Philanthropist is not, he cannot give
you a card.
Phase 6
Pro: You may give away two cards. You may either give them both to one
of the main players or one each.

Cosmic Monopoly
When you draw a Chance or Community Chest card, after looking at it you
may give it to another player who encounters the card. If that
player's Monopoly token is moved he encounters the space.
Commentary: This is a resource power. This is a terrific power. It's
great to be able to get rid of poor cards from your hand. It's superb
to force other players to take them. You can be quite nasty to a
player who's desperate for a fresh new hand. However, as an ally, once
in a while you might want to give the main player on your side a good
card to help him win the challenge, preferably a card you don't mind
someone else controlling.
As mentioned under Hurtz, in multi-power games, the player of the Wild
Flare chooses the power of the victim that is replaced, in my opinion.
I fondly remember a very mean use of the Wild Flare in a game I played.
We were using reverse system hexes, and Gas Giant was the defensive
player. He declared all his tokens to defend. Both main players
revealed Attack Cards. Even though I wasn't even involved in the
challenge, I decided to be mean and played the Wild Philanthropist
Flare to give the offensive player my Anti-Matter power for the
challenge. Tee Hee.
