Please make an exhaustive enumeration of all strategic options available to
both players in headsup action in limit holdem after the river card has been
dealt. Please summarize these strategic options as an NxN game payoff
matrix. What is the value of N?
What is the correct labelling for the rows and columns of this NxN payoff
matrix? Please give the mathematical value of each of the elements, or
cells, of the payoff matrix.
Those of you who know the answer to this elementary problem in applying
mathematical game theory to holdem strategy, please remain silent and let's
see if Abdul even understands the question, let alone is able to provide the
correct answer.

him, and consider him to be an excellent player, and very knowledgeable in
poker theory.
And William, give the guy a break. I am sure there is some slight,
perceived or otherwise. But, these types of posts were just recently
denounced by you as being anti productive and just plain ridiculous.
Why can't we leave personalities out of our poker judgment as far as posting

mathematical disciplines to the development of a theory of optimum poker
strategy.
Shortly after I started posting on this newsgroup, Abdul made a post advising
everyone to killfile me because I was a troll. It is obvious that he would
prefer that no one read my posts. Why? Because he is pretending to be
something he is not. He is not an expert on poker theory, as far as I can see.
If he were, why wouldn't he want to talk to me? I posed these questions to him
to find out if he had any knowledge at all of the mathematical disciplines which
will be the basis for the formulation of a theory of optimum poker strategy.
Maybe he is very knowledgeable in the areas of game theory and mathematical
statistics. If so, I have not seen any evidence of this knowledge in anything
he has ever written.
It is pretty clear to me that Abdul is a phony in the same way Mike Caro is a
phony. Both are pretending to be something they are not -- experts on poker
theory. Caro's ignorance is laughable, and he has been repeatedly laughed off
RGP.
Abdul may very well be a strong winning player. I do not know. I just read a
post by Shawn that Abdul is a solid player and knowledgeable about poker. I
respect Shawn's opinion. I do not dispute that Abdul is knowledgeable about
poker. His essays speak for themselves. I will concede that Abdul has
credentials in the area of poker strategy -- the nuts and bolts of playing
hands against different types of players. I will not concede that Abdul has any
credentials whatsover as a poker theoretician. By poker theory, I mean a
theoretical mathematical framework which provides a rigorous analysis of optimum
poker strategy.
If Abdul is for real, and not a phony, why wouldn't he want to talk to me? If
he needs educating in game theory and statistics, I am just the one to educate
him. The problem with Abdul is that he has a huge ego, and vastly overestimates
his poker knowledge. He has managed to convince a lot of you that he is the
ultimate authority on poker theory. That is why he wants everyone to kill file
me.
He cannot bear to have everyone find out what a phony he is.
I posed these challenges to Abdul to find out if he was at all mathematically
sophisticated. I seriously doubt that he is. Any holdem player who has taken
an undergraduate course in finite mathematics could easily answer all the
questions I have posed. These are not at all difficult questions. If Abdul
cannot answer my questions, without referring to books or asking someone else,
he needs to come clean and admit that he knows nothing about poker theory. Is
he knowledgeable about applied poker strategy? Yes, without a doubt. Is he
knowledgeable about poker theory? Not as far as I can see. If he cannot easily
answer my questions, the answer is definitely NO.

Who are you challenging in this thread? If you don't even know who is

have ever had communication with. You should avail yourself of my assistance
and advice, rather than pestering me with your ridiculous diagnoses and
conclusions. Go take a course in critical thinking and logical analysis, then

still aren't the borderline between knowledgeable and unknowledgeable
