2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced celery
1 pound fresh jumbo lump crab meat
1 tablespoon Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
1/4 pound cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 pound diced fresh shrimp
1/4 pound fresh chopped mushrooms
1 teaspoon parsley
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup sherry
Melt butter and saute 1/2 cup diced onion and 1/2 cup diced celery in skillet
and add the remaining ingredients. Simmer until steaming. Serves 6 to 8.
This thick, rich soup, whether served alone or as part of a complete meal, is
sure to be a conversation piece. I have found it to be perfectly reheatable for
a late night snack.
