Anyone tried Magic Clay from Pro Art? I found this stuff in a art supply
store in the kid section. Came in a box with five different colors. Boil
or bake it and instead of turning hard it turns rubbery. My daughter and I
made several small figurines very quickly. I was quite impressed with the
stuff. Anyone got any experiences, good or bad, with this stuff?

Yes, I got some for my crumbcruncher and he really liked it. BUT it will do a
number on your furniture if you leave a baked project on it! Fortunately our
place is still furnished with parental castoffs............

Dear All,

My daughter and I have used the Magic Clay and had a great time. It
makes erasers when it's done! The only problem I've had is that if you
let them sit for a long time, they get a little gummy (I guess I'm not
sure I boiled them for long enough... I boiled them for the time on the
box!).

I use the erasers we made all the time.

As someone posted a few weeks ago, it makes erasers. I found that it
was possible, if you are very careful, to make caned erasers. The
colors can bleed a lot using red and white together. I baked mine
instead of boiling, and had no gumminess later (it's been about a year
or more). Someday I'll try making polymer clay pencils, and then glue
my millefiori erasers onto the ends!
