Hey,

If the other thread is going to list the highlights in this newsgoup,
we need to have a place for the embarrassing lows. Idiot posters,
stupid messages, dumb thoughts, predictions that completely flopped,
etc....

Thanks,
Ronde Chumpion

Just last week in a post I wrote "your" where it should have said
"you're".

Thanks for reading, also check out http://grouphug.us/

In the thread about favourite races I confused Fleche Wallone & Gent
Wevelgem. (Blushes, Hangs head)

Oh yeah, thats nothing compared to me thinking the Kemmelberg was in
Belgium and worst of all that Amstel might be a Belgian beer. I hope
the beer lovers in Holland are more peaceful than the animal activists,
or I might have to start worrying about an assasination attempt.

Mea culpa (how do you say 'me a dumbass' in latin)

I meant Valkenburg.

Just to make it perfectly clear, the Kemmelberg is a cobbled mole-hill
in West-Flanders, in the parcours for Gent-Wevelgem and Driedaagse De
Panne-Koksijde. Valkenburg on the other hand is a little town near
Maastricht in the southern most part of The Netherlands (can't really
call it Holland there anymore), with a mole-hill of its own: the
Cauberg. You may remember that climb from the Amstel Gold Race,
several World- and countless Dutch Championships.

For the same reason that you can't use New England and the United States
interchangeably.
