I can't believe you'd say that about Tom. He's a moderate! Just ask him. And he
likes and respects everyone and their opinions. He's the very soul of diplomacy in
this group.

Idaho has banned nut cases from relocating to the state ofter the Aryan

ocan see him, hearhim or touch him...

So now Bolton has gone Kunich can become the next US ambassador to the UN.

Crap.. you are going to make me dig out the old vinyl to see what else I
missed! :^) (Yes.. I still have vinyl...no 8-tracks, thank God!).
Well, vinyl is king.
8-track sucked.
Even in the car 8 track sucked, but it was better than the disco crap
the radio was playing. My kids have discovered all my old vinyl, it's
kinda cool.
Bill C
Dumbass -
Guantanemo would be more poetic.
thanks,
K. Gringioni.
A lot of stuff that is out on vinyl has been remastered and put on CD.
Sadly, there is a certain ambiance missing (and I dont mean the cracks,
pops and hissses of the needle on the vinyl). Best turntable/pickup
combo I ever had was a Dual model 1605( IIRC), a Shure tonearm and a
Grado 3+ cartridge. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet...

Just someone on two wheels...
wow... that last post must have taken a lot of thought. How long did it
take you? 1-2 hours? Oh well... to the killfile wid ya.
No name for you... you have a hard enough time living with the one you have.
Aren't you a little short and fat for this time of the year? Shouldn't you
only show up around troll's day?
Dude,
I think Bill C. is his actual name and initial. Not everyone
named Bill C. was named after Bill Clinton. Although
I personally worship the man as my spirital guide, I
drew the line at changing my name to Bill, and merely had
a tattoo of his visage carved onto my upper arm.
What does Clinton have to do with this? He hasn't been
president since when LANCE was a two-time TdF winner,
Garzelli won the Giro, and Vainsteins (remember Vainsteins?
me neither) was World Champion.
Tom's reputation is not derived solely from his political
positions, but from his manner. If you wish to claim
that the one implies the other, go right ahead.
Ben
Everyone who has been around here for a while knows who Bill is. And he's no
leftie. Anyway, what the hell difference would it make if he used his full name or
not? How would knowing that effect your life?
Oh, and "the shame of the 42nd President..." I believe history will be a *much*
harsher judge of ol' 43.
If you are still alive in 30 years you may be proved sorely wrong.......
Dumbass -
lol!
On what basis? Even 43 himself is admitting that things are fucked up.
thanks,

Perhaps he and Cheney could represent the US at the next duck hunting
world championships.

I know you are too stupid to keep score and the only crowd of wingnuts
you are comfortble with are those that meet at the bar with the
Lonestar Draft sign in the front and the "We don't serve queers" sign
over the bar, but some of us leftwingnut cowards sign our complete
names and even use our addresses.
Be careful though. Unlike you and yours, my neighbors actually get
along with me and as a pack, we can get dangerous. I probably can't
hit the broadside of a barn with an M-16 anymore, but I'm pretty good
throwing Piraat bottles and can break a 2x4 with my shillelagh
(admittedly, its mostly an innocent walking stick).
Curtis L. Russell

Delusional leftwingnut liberal coward and proud of it.
I went and won't send anyone else, unlike those that didn't and will.
For instance, Bill Clinton was named after him - see the resemblance?
He's just been playing one for the last year because he wants so much to be
in your group. You know - the "doesn't ride" group?
You really don't have a clue do you?
An interesting, if slightly twisted morality: Its shameful to get a
blowjob but its OK to cause the death of untold thousands in a pointless
and unnecessary war.
BTW Bill C has two pickup trucks, I doubt if Bill Clinton does. Is this
acceptable ?
It is impossible to reason with a christo-fascist. Look how long we have
been putting up with tommy.
You're probably right. On the bright side its only 3 weeks to go to
Paris-Nice and no one is talking about Britney Spears's hairstyle.
Do you still have something you can play it on ?
You do have a point... and after looking at her head, so does Britney... :^)
Well.. from a musical-talent point of view.... =)
Let's see:
Yes it's down to two pickups currently. One '72 waiting restoration
with a blown motor and a newer Dodge that's a reliable, basic, work
truck. Jacked up (which sucks for work), ladder racks, tool boxes all
around, no power anything and serious 4wd. (Got a generator in the
back for working out in the bushes and need it). Nice to finally have
just what you need.
I do enjoy being part of a group that has great discussions and
really gives a shit about bike racing.
It's Bill Crowther, that's never been any secret.
Still waiting on how much you have to ride, and race, and which kind,
to belong to "Tom's" group.
Bill C
You're not really Tom, are you? This post could only have been written
by an 8th grader.
The blowjob wasn't given in defense of Amuricuh. THAT'S the difference.
So you enjoy being part of the "MagillaGorilla really cares" group. I've
noticed how the discussions around here really care about racing. You know
"no one knows how to ride and everyone dopes" discussions are just so
fascinating.
> It's Bill Crowther, that's never been any secret.
Never thought it was. Though I always preferred Lock Crowther myself. Kraken
was always a favorite of mine.

You have to ride because you like to ride and you have to watch racing
because you like to watch racing. Speed and distance aren't important.
And you don't have to stab people you don't know in the back because that's
the latest social fad in this country.

OH GOD, now you've got a problem with Britney's hairstyle. You are some
kind of communist, aren't you? Get a clue! The hairstyle is NOT the god
damned point! Sheesh! Talk about missing the forest for the trees...
Tom I'm really having a major problem here holdoing my tongue and
keeping this vaguely civil.
Once upon a time you put on a "blue suit" to which you are a complete
traitor. You've claimed all kinds of BS that should start with "There
we were at 10,000', 3 out of 4 engines gone...".
At least Hanoi Jane didn't claim to love the troops. Speaking of
being a no good, back stabbing son of a gutterslut, she was worlds
above you. She was misguided and clueless. YOU should know better.
All the BS you trot out about being a "patriotic" American is
garbage. It's boilerplate, ass licking, I don't give a fuck about the
troops or the Constituation BS.
Let's see your positions:
The troops don't need up-armored Humvees.
The troops don't need body armor.
Your boys are proposing slashing the VA budget.
They are treating the troops as shit.
And you are cheering. I'd love to hand your sorry ass to my some of
my friends out at the Ranger Bat at Ft. Lewis.
Your crimianl buddies cooked the intel to create the war. Now they
are justifying the war in Iraq by saying the Democrats voted for it.
NO SHIT they did, because they were fed the biggest batch of lies
since the Hearst, oh yeah Spanish-American war.
I'd say that you are as much of a backstabbing POS as John Kerry. but
he did some serious combat duty before he stuck the knife in.

her worthless POS husband and the rest of the media pricks that make up
the enterainment industry.
Let her get the help she needs with her family and freinds.

It's the American way, buddy-boy. If you don't like it, then you and
everyone like you can just GO TO CANADA!
Umm, wait. If you all go to Canada then it'll only leave people like ME
to get sent off to fight in the wars that we need to generate the
profits that keep America great. And I'm too old and fat and opinionated
and comfortable to go to war. Besides, if I went, who'd do the war
profiteering thing?
I knew we let you liberals stay around for some reason...
Well, yeah, that too. But what I meant was: she's got great legs.

Assbag...
Harry Truman had approval ratings of 28%. He is now considered a great president.........
History has a way of putting things in PROPER perspective. This political correctness bullshit will go the way of ditto jeans, pet rocks & chia pets..
FDR is considered another great "Democrat" president. Wasn'y he also the one that went out and gathered up the Japanese here? Something the Satan Bush has not come close to doing......
As I said..... Lets talk about this in another 30 years.
That's actually kind of cool. Not many 8-track carts around anymore, of course.
Is it worth anything (or nothing)? I don't know, I never think of things like that
in terms of "worth" except as it pertains to me. If I like it or think it's
cool/interesting/different, then it would be worth something to me.
I was just saying that I believed 8-track didn't sound very good and tended to
fall apart.

If speed and distance aren't important then why did you feel obligated to tell
everyone how many miles you've ridden this year a few days ago? Hypocrite.
Dumbass,
Magilla may be a troll but he knows a bit more about bike racing than a
perma-cat-5.
I'll take that bet. Global warming versus fundie
Islamofascist world domination, 30 years from now.
Let's put a bottle of Tanqueray on it. As the British
knew from India, gin and tonic makes a great hot
weather drink.
Ben
p.s. Nobody tell Steve, but I stacked the bet. If 30
years from now the USA is a Islamic fundamentalist
theocratic dictatorship (or an Islamic fundamentalist
theocratic elected democracy for that matter), I won't
be able to pay up because alcohol will be verboten.
Particularly when you get Beavis & Butthead to clean them:

I have a small but exquisite 8-track collection:
- 1 Sly and the Family Stone
- 2 Archie Shepp: "For Losers" and "Attica Blues"
- 1 Albert Ayler: "The Last Album"
Plus I have two blank Radio Shack 8-tracks in case
the RIAA finally succeeds in outlawing MP3 players.
Unfortunately I don't have an 8-track player; I looked
into getting one of the old portables a while back
but they seemed to have become hipster collectibles.
The idea of an Albert Ayler 8-track is kind of
mindblowingly incommensurable (in the Thomas Kuhn
sense of two things from unreconcilable paradigms)
although chronologically, it's more or less reasonable.
Ben

Those are all good records. Too bad they aren't on vinyl...

I don't think you need to hold your breath on that one, Ben.

Unfortunately, a lot of stuff has become hipster collectibles and, therefore,
expensive. Just thinking: I can't recall if the carts that they use at radio stations
for PSAs and other canned announcements are the same as an 8-track. If they are, then
you could find one of those players at a place that sells radio station equipment.
They can record too, of course.
