Aughhh! TJ A/C evaporator leaking AGAIN!

Now I am really steamed at this car.

A year ago I went through the major agony and expesne of replacing the
evaporator in my 1997 TJ A/C system:

which on a normal car is a relatively simple swap-out, but on a TJ requires
tearing the steering wheel, steering column, airbags, dashboard, and
ductwork completely out of the vehicle.

This is one of many chronic problems with this model, which include the
cracked exhaust manifold, the faded fender flares, and the fuel tank gauge,
all of which invariably fail yet which only the last is ever fixed as a
warranty item (under recall due to the safety aspect).

Now the aftermarket evap I put in is leaking, only 15 months later! No
cold, charge it up, leak detector screams at condensate drain tube, put
your ear to the passenger A/C outlet and you can hear it hissing.

I am ready to drive this thing into the nearest canal.
