No spoilers here, but I must commend our Matty on
his investigative technique. Trained gumshoes may
differ, but I'm really warming to the "act so
laughably foolish that the objects of my scrutiny
will take pity on me and give me the answers I
seek" method.
I'm no great fan of Mr. Consuelos, but even I have
to muster a whole heap of sympathy when they give
him material this inane. As it stands, I can't
think of an actor alive who could make this dolt
of a character look credible.

Oh my God, can't those two do ANYTHING seperately? It's making me wanna
retch! I hope they're not that codependant in real life. Monda I was
shaking my head in disbelief when Mateo decided he *had* to talk to the
airline guy at the hospital and Tink said, "I'm going with you," and then
got completely bummed out when she had to stay and watch little Amanda (who
BTW could use a good set of braces). I didn't think he'd go without her,
but he mustered himself up and braved being alone for five seconds. What a
twit!

And you notice he is *the* **only** resident in all of Pine Valley who
has tried and *failed* to break into the hospital's conveniently
accessible computer records. Everyone else gets into the system and
finds what he or she is looking for within 15 seconds. Mathead can't
crack that code no matter how hard he types.

I wouldn't think posts dissing the characters and their actions would
bother anyone. That's just part of the fun of a soap. What I do
think would bother them is personal remarks about the actors/actresses
and the way they look. I'm certainly as guilty as anyone of making
fun of Brooke's butt but I can see how people would get hurt. So, I'm
trying to stick to the characters more, and their actions as dictated
by TPTB, who ARE fair game for ANY vicious remarks! :> Of course I
may fall off the wagon occasionally. But it's sooo hard not to make
fun of Brooke! It just so happens that Brooke has the same features
as Julia Barr....but I think Julia is quite lovely (I would die for
those cheekbones), while I think Brooke is smarmy. Go figure...the
two are as different to me as Adam and Stuart are!

Uhh, Caz, if the thread had been titled "Mark Consuelos, P.I. (Public
Idiot)," I'd agree with you.
If the actors are going to get their panties in a bunch over their
*fictional characters* being dissed, then it's just too damn bad, IMO.
I think that *some* of these actors take themselves a bit *too*
seriously.
