You probably saw it mentioned in the newsgroup.

The "undescribed" property is confusing. It does several different
things at once, and I'd have to look through the library source code
to name them all. That's why it's not documented: it's not a good idea
to use it. It's a holdover from the I6 library code.

The solution to your original problem is the "Deciding whether all
includes" activity, which is in the manual 17.28 and is a lot clearer.
