Thanks so much for running this comp series, David. I'm curious if you
have any postmortem thoughts to offer on how it went?
I really liked the idea of having a large, pre-announced panel of
judges beforehand. I would love to see this idea survive to a future
comp.

Well, several new authors got some stuff "out there" along with some
excellent feedback ... and I'm aware of at least one person who was inspired
to write something that didn't end up making it into the competition, but
will probably get finished one day, so that's a good result too.

Me, too ... the judges had plenty of interesting things to say.
(And thanks to Stephen Granade for hosting the reviews!)

I just wanted to say that I found this series of competitions VERY
interesting and I started putting together an entry for SenseComp, but
I just didn't have enough time at the time. I know it must be
disheartening to get little-to-know entries, but as others have
pointed out, I think there just BEING an enterable contest of this
kind lends inspiration to potential writers. So thank you, and I'm
sorry I didn't couldn't enter. :)
*that should read "little-to-NO" entries not "-know". Sheesh.
