this is the day after APE, the Alternative Press Expo, which
is also in San Jose and also recommended.

Friends of Lulu NorCal announces the first ever "Here to Save
Comics Conference," offering a day of fun, food, and networking for
interested women and women-friendly men.

The Conference will offer a full day of panels and workshops
for fans and professionals alike.
