[Hear Ye!] Miyukichan in Wonderland Scans Available!

captures I've done from the Miyukichan in Wonderland OVA to the
alt.binaries.pictures.anime newsgroup. This OVA is perhaps the best piece of
pure fluff-type entertainment I've seen yet. If Disney extracted and distilled
the child-appreciable elements of the original Alice in Wonderland and
Through the Looking-glass, CLAMP has extracted the adult-appreciable elements
and represented them through the medium of shoujo-ai (sort of). Let's just
say it's an intriguing slant on the milieu (and pretty funny at the same time).
Don't expect this to hit U.S. TV anytime soon =)
I will compliment CLAMP on making material that's challenging to capture.
Several parts of the disc have very high luminance, in particular Miyuki's
meeting with the Flowers beyond the Looking-glass. This was enough to actually
clip the input circuitry on my VideoPix board (which only captures in 16-bits
and does not have an input brightness adjustment; ARGH!). I have made the
pictures available anyway, although they look very overexposed. Matters are
much better on screen.

The recently-added HTTP 3.0 indexes of thumbnails should give those using
Netscape (or the like) a rather nice way of previewing scans in any of the
