Anyone care to speculate on which ones are going to
fly high, or go down in flames?

I don't know which ones will go down in flames, but I know I will be
watching K-ON!. I personally think that each episode should have a music
video in the middle, kinda like the video for "fluffy, fluffy time." I like
the screwing around and drinking tea just fine, but there is plenty of room
for an itty-bitty 2 minute AMV in the middle of each episode, isn't there?

I was also a bit dissappointed that there is not a fifth season of
Maria-Sama ga Miteru, but I suppose there still could be one farther into
the future. I know there are 6(?) more novels after "In search of you,"
which could be made into a season, as each novel is usually shown in 2
episodes. However, I think that if there is a 5th season, it should
concentrate on "minor" characters such as Minako, Mami, and whoever she took
as her petite sour (Hidemi or Myuki, I think) or Tsutako and Shouko, etc.

Remember how well that worked out in the first installment of Candy Boy.
Granted, that was a perfect shit storm - it took up half the damn episode,
recapped what we had just seen, and was a crappy song, to boot.

Give it time.

Speaking of that, aren't we due for another installment of Full Metal Panic?

These two I'll definitely try.

Since I'm a fan of Lovecraft's works I'll be trying this one as well.

It's Key, so I'll at least give it a try, although the story and preview
weren't that intriguing.

This sounds so silly, that I simply *have* to try it.

Although I don't think the previous seasons did too well in terms of
following the manga, I'll probably try this one too.

The above three sound/look kinda interessting to me, so I'll be giving
them a try.

I tried the preview of the first couple episodes, but didn't like it
much, so I won't be watching this one. The main character was
particularly annoying. I guess, I just can't handle that kind of work
ethic.

After watching the first episode I'm not sure what to make of this one.
The premise is rather silly, but although it didn't make a really good
first impression, I did get some good laughs out of the first episode.
Will try one or two more before making up my mind.

The first episode was so-so. The male lead gave me the impression that
the character designers were unable to decide whether he should be
Urashima Keitaro or Okazaki Tomoya. Will try some more, though.

Might try this one just for the heck of seeing a Stan Lee comic turned
anime.

Tried the first episode last season, but although character designs,
artwork, music, etc. were quite good, these tear-jerkers are not for me.
To anyone who is into this kind of teary drama it might be a good pick,
though.

Tried and dropped previous seasons, so I won't bother with these.

Wasn't interested in the first season, so I'll pass.

> "Ookiku Furikabutte" 2

Not much into sports anime, so I'll pass on these.

Not much into giant robots either, so I'll pass on this one as well.

No yaoi/shônen ai for me, thanks.

The rest doesn't look that interesting to me, but I may give them a try
if I feel like it at the time.

Just a quick question. I remember someone posted a different website
for the spring anime season, that had all of the new shows shown as like
posters on a webpage. Does anyone still have this webpage address?

The first episode was a little awkward, but I recall the manga being
just the same, so that's fine with me. All main plot points from the
manga were covered. The artwork was nice, but not standing out in any
way. Some of the emotion visualizations didn't work well for me, though
(particularly the gloom clouds).

Don't know about the light novels, but the anime didn't have much to do
with the Cthulhu mythos. Any other theme would have worked just as well.
Fail.
