Dear Sisters in Christ,   

 

It was an especially beautiful marriage prep weekend, so thank you for the prayers.

Just two brief notices:

1. The convention committee is busy putting the finishing touches on what promises to be a great local convention. A reminder to register by phone to reserve your spot! Call Melanie at 301-365-0612. If you don't get through, your call will be returned within 24 hours.

2. Please keep in your prayers the participants in the National Spiritual Guide Training Convention, which began last night. We have a small group of beginners at the beginning of the week, burgeoning to about 25 women later, when the more experienced guides arrive.

Anyone is welcome to join the conventioneers for Mass. Here's the schedule of masses at OLB for the week of Sept. 19-23:
  • 11:30 am Mon, Tues & Thursday
  • 8:00 am Wed & Friday

As you may be aware, our Section is beginning a new Study Circle Catholicism series.    Materials are normally $35, but we can receive a discounted price of $20 if we order in bulk.   Please let your team leader know ASAP if you are interested (the order is being placed at the end of the weekend).  Thanks.
