How might I contribute my Voldemort Lucene Directory implementation?

I have produced an initial implementation of Lucene Directory using
Voldemort as the data store. The work is a quasi-port of the
Infinispan Lucene Directory by the JBoss group. At this point the work
is mostly academic, I am sure there are significant improvements that
could be made. Unit test coverage for one.

Because of licensing differences, and because this is more an
application of Voldemort than an enhancement to it, it doesn't belong
in the Voldemort Project proper, but I still would like to contribute
it somehow, if anyone thinks it is interesting. My question is, does
anyone think it is interesting? And, if so, how would I contribute it?

+1 Sounds very interesting if it allows scalable Lucene indices.

This sounds great. Why don't you start by putting it up on github? It'll be great to have (a) an example application (b) some performance numbers.

Best,

+1. Github should work. I'd worry about any one-man project not
having a long life-span, so I encourage you to immediately think about
creating at least a mailing list associated with the project.

Have you tried using this with Solr by any chance?

Thanks for all the feedback...

Being more of a Subversion guy than a Git one, I have posted the
source at Source Forge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/voldemortlucene/

I am going to try and work on this more as I have time, but meanwhile,
any and all feedback is most welcome.
