Hey guys,

These two parameters (RailsFrameworkSpawnerIdleTime and
RailsAppSpawnerIdleTime) are described in the Github wishlist (http://
github.com/FooBarWidget/passenger/wikis/wishlist), however, when I use
these directives in a vhost (or globally), I receive syntax errors
from Apache.

The directives are found beneath the initial loading of Passenger in
my apache configuration. I am using v. 2.0.3 (the one you get via
sudo gem install passenger). My apache installation is 2.2.9. Are
these directives active in 2.0.3? Is this old information? Is it
only available in the HEAD of the repo? Or does the Github page have
typos?

Thanks!

-John

Only HEAD. All features in 2.0.x are documented.

Is HEAD stable? Or, alternatively, do you have an expected timeframe
for the next release?

That note on Github suggests that I can manually modify this parameter
directly in the source (lib/passenger/constants.rb). Is that
advisable if I want to stay on the 2.0.3 release?

Yes. wiki.rubyonrails.org and our internal apps run on it.
