From the Telegraph of 28 July 2010:
Newcomb Hugh Reginald, 22nd July
died peacefully with his children by his side. Much loved by Amanda,
Annabel, Toby, Rupert and many others. Family funeral only. Service of
Thanksgiving at St Mary's Salehurst on Monday August 30th at 2pm. All
welcome. No flowers but donations to Egerton Ward (Conquest Hospital),
Racing Welfare or any other cancer charity.
He m 1967 Inger Marion Averil (b 1944) dau of Sir (Felix) James
Moncrieff SCHUSTER OBE TD 3rd Bt (1913-96, cr UK 1906) and Ragna (d
1995 dau of Direktor Ole SUND of Copenhagen). They had two sons: Toby
James Moncrieff NEWCOMB b 1969 and Rupert NEWCOMB b 1971.
