_.Sir Ian Vere Gyles Isham, 13th Baronet, died 20 Oct 2009, aged 86.
The baronetcy was created by Chas. I in 1627. He was b 17 Jul 1923,
son of Lt-Col Vere Arthur Richard Isham, MC (d 1968, descended from
the 7th Bart) by his wife Edith Irene (d 1973), dau of Harry Brown;
succeeded to the baronetcy on the demise of hi kinsman, Sir Gyles, in
1976. Educ at Eton and Worcester College, Oxford; served with BAOR
1945-47 as Capt, London Yeomanry; unmarried. Succeeded in the baonetcy
by his yr brother, Norman Murray Crawford Isham, b 28 Jan 1930, who
married and fathered 2 sons and 1 dau. Funeral Service on Thursday 5th
November 2009, at All Saints Church, Butts Road, Alton, Hampshire. A
Memorial Service at Lamport Church, Northamptonshire is to be held at
a later date.

The good news is that each of the sons has 2 teenage sons. They are
the only ones in remainder to the baronetcy.
