has anyone installed old town oar lock sockets on their canoe? bolts or pop
rivets?

I used some small bolts to install some stainless oar looks on my fibreglass
canoe. The canoe is stored but If I remember correctly, I just used some
washers on the inside of the gunwales (if that is the right term). I have
done some light rowing without any problem.
