Hi

A week ago I traveled from Suffolk to Norfolk and noticed the OsmAnd routes me around some area and adding around 10-15 miles additional travel.

After some investigation I found that the A145 (London Road) part connected to the A12 is marked as one way.

After fixing that part I was able to properly see the correct route on http://map.project-osrm.org website ( http://osrm.at/3Ds ).

I manually downloaded the part of that area using JOSM and builded part of the map and tested that the changes are correct.

After that today I downloaded the newest maps the routing become a little bit awkward.

OsmAnd is routing using the A145 road if I am choosing the starting point between the A154 and A12 junctions (http://osm.org/go/0EYcVrWM--) it is routing trough the A12. If I am choosing the starting point further on A145, after the "Waveney District" separation line it routes through the A145 (London Road).

Please see attached screenshots for more details.

Areg

Is there a break in the road if you go to Openstreetmaps?

I recently posted a question about the Dubai metro stations not being used for routing, turns out that the end of the bridges don't touch the road (they end up on an unmapped sidewalk) so a connection to the road has to be designed.

Hi

The road is definitely connected as I can route from one end of A145 to another, but if I start route from A12 it routes around A145.

As I mentioned http://map.project-osrm.org/ is routing normally trough that area ...

Hi

Seems here is the breaking point - the junction with traffic sygnals.
Is there a reason that OsmAnd trying to avoid it ????
It increases the route from 17 to 22 miles ...

This is not affecting "Precise" routing option ...

Hm...
Bug, but I'm not sure if I fix with current routing, I'm very busy with new ("Precise") routing.
