OpenSocial Foundation board meeting: Late August?

Hi everyone,

It is feeling to be about time for the board to get together to sync up on the latest happenings, check in on some of the foundation management tasks (dues, trademark, membership, etc) discuss, and, of course, meet some new faces on the board. Since the last meeting:

• Jason Oberfest joined the board representing MySpace (filling the seat that Allen Hurff held) -- welcome Jason!
• As Anil announced earlier, Ramu Yalamanchi joined the board in hi5's seat

If at all possible, I think it'd be great if we can all get together in person (in SF or the south bay). I'd propose we meet during the week of August 24th. Happy to host at Google, or we can meet up elsewhere.

As a naive straw man, how about Thursday, 8/27, at 3pm? I think we should plan for a 1.5 hour block.

Please reply back with your availability the week of August 24th.

That time works for me, as does most of that week, with some exceptions for "first week of school" activities.

Joe Greenstein can do wed 8/26 at 10am down in south bay or Thurs 8/27 at 3pm in San Francisco.

That works for me as well. If we decide to meet in San Francisco, we also have room at hi5 (2^nd between Mission and Market).

Hi all,

 

Ideal for me would be anytime on Tuesday, 8/25 or Wednesday, 8/26 in either south bay or downtown SF. I am traveling for 10 business days starting on 8/27.
