Evolution of the OpenSocial and Gadgets Specifications

Hi folks,

Over the past several months, the OpenSocial and Gadgets APIs have been evolving quite rapidly, and while there have been many places to provide feedback and suggestions (the OpenSocial forum, the Gadgets forum, the Shindig-dev list, etc), it seemed like it would be appropriate to create a focused place for specification discussions to take place.

So, welcome to this new group! This group is intended specifically for discussing what functionality should be rolled into future versions of the OpenSocial or Gadgets specifications as well as determing specifics around the design of the specific APIs. If you are looking for help *using* these APIs, you should visit the forums for OpenSocial, Gadgets, or the particular container you are targeting (e.g. hi5, orkut, Ning).

In case you're not already familiar with those two spec documents, I'd encourage you to check them out:

If you have ideas, suggestions, or critiques for the specifications, please speak up.
