Hey everyone,

At the next DemoCampHamilton Joey Coleman will be doing a demo of Open
Data products from across Canada and some of the Open Hamilton
projects already underway, so I would just like to invite everyone
associated with Open Hamilton out to the event. It's a great way to
connect with the Hamilton area software community.

DemoCampHamilton2 will be taking place Friday May 27th from
7:00pm-9:00pm at Mohawk College. DemoCamp is an event where 5
developers\entrepreneurs each show off their software for 5 minutes,
and get 5 minutes of feedback and questions from the audience. The
first DemoCampHamilton took place this March, we had 100+ people out
to Slainte Irish Pub downtown and the event was a blast for everyone
involved:

From 5:00pm to 10:00pm there will be live music and drinks at the
outdoor Terrace Garden, a short walk from room i109 where
DemoCampHamilton2 will take place.

Sounds interesting Joey. A lot of people are interested in seeing
Open Hamilton demo from talking to people.

Just so you guys know, it's a sponsored event, which means we should
have at least some "free stuff" for the community that comes out, but
only if you have a ticket. :-) Getting a ticket also helps us know
how many people to expect.

I like the Chicago Tribune's app. The gerrymandering of US districts always shocks me and being Chicago, the map's not complete without mention of guys getting turfed for corruption:
