Dear Senator Klobuchar:     Do you call what is written below "a response?"

You state:   "I am here in our nation's capital to do the public's business and to serve the people of our state........"

I appreciate that you are apparently willing to "listen and learn" but you need to "take action!"   What exactly do you plan to do about investigating and releasing the EMF Interagency Committee Report that Dr. Imre Gyuk, Department of Energy, continues to withhold from the public?

What are you doing to facilitate my testimony before Congress?

What plans do you have in place to begin informing the public they may be able to reduce approximately one-half of every symptom by simply moving electric appliances, some telephone equipment and any item that has a speaker (magnet) away from close proximity to beds?

The following paragraph from a Nurses' Continuing Education Course cites a recent study indicating that "what we call AD may be preventable........"

[Excerpt] ...........Although the risk of developing AD increases with age, AD and other dementia symptoms are the result of many interacting factors over many years of life—environmental, genetic, lifestyle factors—that affect brain function. Alzheimer's disease has become the most dreaded diagnosis in modern society, and it is predicted to explode among our aging population. However, a recent study by Langa and colleagues (2008) offers reason to hope that what we call AD may be preventable, not by medications but by lifestyle changes that begin early in life........

Objective and epidemiological evidence regarding electromagnetic radiation exposure (microwave radiation) is overwhelming.   Studies over a decade ago, confirm the connection between occupational electric field exposures, resultant low melatonin levels,  and links to breast cancer, Leukemia, Alzheimers and more.   There is simply too much information and we can no longer wait for action while you and others become updated on the facts -- positive and negative, surrounding close, chronic prolonged electric field exposures.

It is time for politicians to act responsibly and speak out on behalf of the public!    I do not accept your comments in your message below (dated 4-12-09) as proper representation of the people of Minnesota.  I am a voter and taxpayer and expect "action!"       Respectfully,  Joanne C. Mueller

Dear Joanne:

Thank you for taking the time to send me information about preventable health care problems. I appreciate your sharing it with me.

I am grateful that you took the time to share your thoughts. As U.S. Senator, I believe it is always important to listen and learn from what the people of Minnesota have to say to me. I am here in our nation’s capital to do the public’s business and to serve the people of our state. With that in mind, please do not hesitate to contact me again about matters of concern to you.

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write to me.

Sincerely,

Amy Klobuchar
United States Senator
